The regular meeting of the Quilting Guild of The Villages was held February 7, 2012 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center.
President Alice Nicholas called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by the members.
The secretary's report was read by Dale Angione and approved by the membership.
President Nicholas read the treasurer's report which was then filed for review.
President Nicholas welcomed our newest chapter, The Quilting Divas of Captiva.
Jeannine Haller had the challenge quilt packets for the 2013 Quilt Show available in the back of the room after the meeting. Anyone wishing to take part in the challenge should see Jeannine.
President Nicholas read a letter from Ann Moroz thanking all those who helped with the Marketplace event.
Micki MacCumbee, Vice President and Program Chair, talked about upcoming classes.

Micki then introduced our guest speaker, Mark Sherman, who spoke on his Quilting Journey.
There were 24 show and tell items and 10 winners of the 50/50.
