"The meeting included two other events: the presentation of our Friendship Stars lap quilt, individually made and signed by our chapter members, to Guild President Jeanette, as a token of our thoughts in her recent health challenges, and our appreciation for the good job she does for our membership, and the drawing of the Halloween Blocks which went to Kristen, who let out a whoop of delight over it. The blocks this year were really extraordinary."
