• Judy - Sea Breeze website pages have been updated for May and June
• Sunshine Cottage quilts - many have been finished. The goal is to have them finished by the November guild meeting so we can display them for show and tell.
• Mary Elizabeth asked us to save pieces of soap.
• Suggestion - use the recently purchased AccuQuilt for comfort quilt projects.
July 19
• Quilter's Dream has a 25% off sale on July 26th.
• There is a yard sale in Orlando on Sat July 23rd.
• There is an art festival at McCall's Tavern on Wednesday August 17th from 12 - 4 PM - Alice will demonstrate the AccuQuilt with Mary Ann.
August 16
• Joann's VIP cards expire on August 31st. Go online to renew these.
• Sew Many Things has good discounts (sign up for email).
• Sterling Heights - a new quilt chapter is forming there (beginning September 6th). Suggestions discussed for how to make things easier for them.
• We need recommendations for our comfort quilts (charities).
• Janet Myers and Martha Fernez will serve on the nominating committee for the guild officers.
• We will receive our Quilt Show 2013 panel to decorate as we wish.
• Raffle Quilt update - we have received two pizza boxes with blocks that we will be piecing together.
• Carol Windle - placed order for thread through Connecting Threads.
• Mary Ann - guild workshops offered are listed on board and website.
• Guild - requests that each chapter have one golf cart in the Christmas Golf Cart Parade. The guild will pay the entry fees.
August 30
• Alice - next week she will teach the placemat class. Supply list will be emailed.
• Vendor Marketplace (2012 - January 21 and 22) will not have a boutique. Lots of vendors. Volunteers are needed. No food will be sold. There will be a meeting on September 6th (6PM) before the Guild meeting for those who are interested in helping out.
• September 6th Guild Meeting - Superior Threads (everyone will get a 15 page handout).
